Employees of the Institute of Public Health Maribor, which in 2009 celebrated 80 years of its existence, are trying to improve daily living conditions and health of citizens in the wider region of Maribor.
The objectives are achieved with high-quality work. The quality of the services is supported by following the ISO standards, by the accredited laboratory processes and by the methods of good manufacturing practice. Employees, each through his or her knowledge and quality of work, are contributing a pebble to the mosaic of good results.
Institute of Public Health invests in the employees, into their knowledge, into personal growth and into better coordination of work responsibilities with family duties. By obtaining CERTIFICATEe for family friendly company in 2008, we formalized the social responsibility to the employees.

80 years we are proudly walking on the path of the development. Our predecessors have started modestly but courageously to build a solid foundation of the preventive health care in the region. Their work is continued and developed in accordance with the development of the profession and the needs of modern times. With our work we are trying to improve the health and everyday living conditions of the citizens of our region and the wider Slovenian territory. Our goals are achieved through quality work, constant learning and upgrading skills, investing in development and personal growth of employees.
We are on track, thanks to good work and efforts of all employees. Our values, in particular the professionalism, quality, efficiency and kindness lead us to new challenges and victories.
